Sun city
How would it feel to be greeted by the first ray of sun every morning, not from your room window but from the city where sun rise first in the morning. Jodhpur city is basically for MORNING LOVERS, it is for people who love morning stars and and would love to experience the beauty of how darkness converted into sunrise and make everything visible and more beautiful.

JODHPUR is also known as BLUE CITY.
Jodhpur is basically divided into two parts new city and old city in old city most of the houses are of blue colour that is why it is known as blue city.
MEHRANGARH FORT
It is one among the largest indian forts. This invincible fort stands magnificently 400 feet above the city. Rao Jodha constructed the fort in 1459 AD. Though the attempt to construct the fort was started in 1459, the fort had seen many centuries before it was completed.
Through forts back window you can see the BLUE CITY(old city).
You will love to do flying fox its very exciting experience.
There are two museums and one goddess temple in fort.
Here is the chance for photographers to capture stunning views of whole Jodhpur from one place.
At the gate you will be welcomed by musicians playing folk song.
You will get tourist friendly facilities like audio guides, a lift to the top.
JASWANT THADA
Jaswant Thada was built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, the Second in the year 1899. This is close to Mehrangarh Fort. The tranquility of the marble construction is enchanting. The carvings are intricate. Inside Jaswant Thada, you will find the portraits of the Rathore rulers. The grounds of Jaswant Thada consist of a stunning multilevel garden, intricately carved gazebos and a pond.
one small is also there. The most serene and unwinding spot for an individual is by the lakeside. The quietness of the water gives tranquillity to the psyche in this furious and perpetually running world.

MORE ABOUT JODHPUR
History
Being very old, Jodhpur has rich history. In the Mahabharata, it is mentioned.
Lord Krishna showed his Virat side to Rishi Utank in Marwar. And, he had done it only twice. One to Arjun in Kurukshetra and one to sage Utank in Marwar.
There are sites that are rich in history like Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Rai ka Bagh Palace.
Food
Food is the first reason I love Jodhpur. You can find all type of food in Jodhpur.
In jodhpur people dont believe in MAC Burger they have there own jodhpur burger bread and choudary mirchibada.
From traditional Makhaniya Lassi to Fast Foods like Pav Bhaji, you will find everything here.
Some dishes that were not from here – today have a Marwari touch to them. People here love dishes with more chilly in them.
Culture
In other parts of the world, families have started separating. Yet, there is joint family culture in Jodhpur.
This enables sharing, learning, helping and growing with each other. Elders guide youngsters with their experience.
People
The Jodhpur people are among the most humble people of India.
We call it “Thaadi Boli” OR “Mithi Boli” meaning “using sweet words while talking”.
Even a stranger is communicated using the word “sa” OR “ji”.
It means if your name is Ankur, we will call you “Ankur Sa” OR “Ankur Ji”.
This is a unique form of respect that has enabled Marwari people to win hearts of people.
